Owl is the phone app for Owl Eyewear AI glasses, built natively twice: Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on Android, Swift and SwiftUI on iOS. Both apps live in one repository so they share the vendor SDKs, the design tokens, the prompts and the docs, and the two stay in step.

Pairing walks the wearer through permissions, waking the glasses and picking them from a scan. The Device tab shows a 3D model of the glasses you can turn, battery and storage, and Import pulls photos, videos and voice notes over the glasses Wi-Fi into a gallery with a viewer and video stabilising.

The Assistant answers out loud through the glasses. One press on the left button asks a question, two presses photograph what is in front of you and describe it, and a Translate mode speaks other people's words back in the phone language. It runs on Gemini by default, and anyone can paste their own Gemini, OpenAI, Claude or OpenRouter key, which is checked with the provider and kept only on the phone.

Settings cover volume, voice wake, background button handling and firmware updates, with iOS also installing firmware from a file. The design pairs Apple style structure with an editorial near black finish.
